Doechii has been announced as a guest feature on pop superstar Katy Perry‘s forthcoming single, “I’m His, He’s Mine.”

KP revealed the news with a high-fashion photo of her and the Swamp Princess on Instagram on Tuesday (September 10).

“I’M HIS, HE’S MINE ft. @doechii SEPTEMBER 13,” she wrote, confirming the video will also drop that day.

The track will live on Katy’s new dance-pop album 143, which is set to drop the following Friday (September 20).

It’s been a banner year for Doechii, who released her new mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal late last month. The Florida native has quite the fan in her TDE boss Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith – as he noted the project makes him feel the same way the label’s breakout superstar Kendrick Lamar did in his early days.

“@doechii Alligator Bites Never Heal out now !! What are your thoughts & standouts so far ? I have the same feeling I had when KDOT dropped Section 80,” he wrote in an Instagram post.  “She’s 1 of those ones 4sho !!!!”

Top Dawg isn’t the only TDE member that Doechii has impressed with her new effort, as it’s all ScHoolboy Q has been spinning as well.

“Just Here to say DOEcHii… dats all I care about at da moment,” he wrote on X the day the tape dropped.

And just this week, the one and only Beyoncé named Doechii as one of her favorite new artists.

“I love and respect all of the female singers-songwriters who are out right now,” she said in an interview with GQ. “Raye, Victoria Monét, Sasha Keable, Chloe x Halle, and Reneé Rapp. I love Doechii and GloRilla, and I just heard That Mexican OT, he’s from Houston…. He goes hard! I really like ‘Please Please Please’ by Sabrina Carpenter, and I think that Thee Sacred Souls and Chappell Roan are talented and interesting. I’m obsessed with my backseat baby…. I’m a Smiler.”

The 19-track Alligator Bites Never Heal is streaming now and follows Doechii’s weekly “Swamp Session” installments and her single “Alter Ego” with JT earlier this year.
