The Game Hits Back At Mike Tyson Critics After Jake Paul Fight: ‘Proud Of You Champ!’

Mike Tyson‘s loss to Jake Paul has disappointed many fight fans — but not The Game.

In the aftermath of Tyson’s defeat by unanimous decision to Paul in their much-hyped boxing match on Friday (November 15), the Los Angeles rapper took to social media to weigh in.

On his X account, The Game wrote: “I see all these weird celebrities n!%%as saying Mike looked bad, this was sad & disgusting etc… yall goofy. I saw a 58 year old legend go 8 rounds with a 27 year old in front of the world in a sold out football stadium n walk away with 20 million dollars, his dignity & yet another achievement he said was only for HIM. I’m proud of you champ !!!!”

A few hours later, he posted a photo of that message to his Instagram account, adding the caption: “@MikeTyson you were my hero as a child & nothing has changed since then for me !!!!! Thank you for your contribution to the culture then & now.”

When not weighing in on boxing matches, The Game has been hard at work finishing The Documentary 3.

In a series of Instagram posts this past August, the West Coast spitter revealed that he’s close to completing the album, the third in a series that began with his 2005 debut and continued with a sequel a decade later.

“The Documentary is coming,” he wrote on the first post. “All you have to do is be patient & receive the blessing.”

“I been in the studio everyday for the past three weeks… 12-14 hours a day,” he continued in a follow-up.

“[I] have been damn near able to complete this album in classic form through the support of my friends, family & fans.”

The rapper has said that he plans to release the project on the twentieth anniversary of the original album, which would be January 18, 2025.
