Max B Responds To Claims Of Backstage Altercation With Ja Rule

Max B wants no parts of internet fueled drama, especially when his name keeps getting dragged into stories that are not real. The Harlem rapper recently stopped by The Breakfast Club with French Montana and used the opportunity to shut down a rumor that has been circulating since he returned home. Online chatter suggested Max had been involved in a backstage altercation with Ja Rule during a recent Brandy and Monica tour stop in Brooklyn. According to Max, the story is completely false.

He laughed off the idea, stressing that there has never been any issue between him and the Queens rapper. Max said he was honestly puzzled when people even mentioned it, explaining that Ja Rule has always been someone he respects and considers family. There was no tension, no disagreement, and no behind the scenes incident. Just speculation that snowballed online.

French Montana echoed that sentiment, saying Max seemed more entertained than upset when he showed up after the concert. Rather than acting like someone who had just been in a confrontation, Max was cracking jokes about how people were trying to turn nothing into something. It was a clear example of how rumors online can sound far more dramatic than reality.

“I was like, ‘I love Ja Rule. What the hell y’all talking about?’” Max explained. “Like Ja Rule my [...] like you know what I’m saying? So, no. Shout out to Ja Rule.”

Max B Sets The Record Straight

Things took an even stranger turn when Max revealed the rumor traveled so far that it caught the attention of his parole officer. He said she reached out to ask where he had been the night before and whether he was connected to any supposed incident. Max quickly cleared that up as well, explaining that he simply attended the show and went home afterward.

"My parole officer called me,” Max B revealed. “She said, ‘Where was you last night?’ I’m like, ‘I was at the concert.’ She was like, ‘Did y’all beat up Ja Rule?’ I said, ‘Absolutely not.’ I love Ja Rule. No way."

At the end of the day, Max made it clear there was no fight, no confrontation, and no friction with Ja Rule at all. It was just another reminder of how quickly gossip can grow when the internet starts filling in blanks that were never there.
