MIAMI – Hip-hop artist and former Mr. Bahamas Rello Ranzano came up from humble beginnings in Nassau, and now he’s taking ready to take the word by storm with his debut single “Anything for this Money,” a unique, lyrical blend of Afro-pop and rap.

Ranzano says his music takes inspiration from his life story, including growing up in the Bahamas and attending school in Miami.

“It’s my way to speak without being judged. It’s like me having a conversation with myself. That’s what I use music for,” Ranzano says. “I came from a place where people slept on the floor. I never had a voice. I grew up in a house full of women who didn’t understand me. Cousins making fun of you for being poor.”

But Rello says that his upbringing gave him a deep appreciation of the ladies.

“I just love females. When I was younger, I was very insecure. I grew up not understanding what real love is. My dad was far away, and my mom gave tough love,” Ranzano says. “When I started loving myself more, I started getting more girls.”

Those relationships with women color Rello Ranzano’s soulful music.

“In my music, I speak a lot of my experiences of women,” he says. “You could say I’m a certified loverboy. My music is for the women, for the cool dudes, and people have a lot of women. My music is for the players!”

The 6’8” international artist has already built a following in the Caribbean communities in Miami, where he played college basketball, and Toronto, Canada, where he shot the video for “Anything for this Money.”

“I started getting into music after I moved to Miami. I was in college playing basketball and I was real good, but when I saw the lifestyle and the women, I quit and started doing the music,” Ranzano says.

But Rello Ranzano’s music also comes with a strong moral message. He says his song “Anything for This Money” is a condemnation of people who will let material desires blind them to the hurt they cause others.

“People don’t have no morals these days. The truth of the story is, I had fallen in love with a prostitute and I was trying to get her to stop doing it, but she was all about the money,” Ranzano says.

Deep honesty is key to Ranzano’s musical message.

“I say things people are afraid to say, but it’s an uplifting vibe and inspirational. Every word is inspiring,” Ranzano says. “People will feel a lot of emotions.”

Complementing Ranzano’s dope beats is his sickening style, which he says comes from a lifetime of caring about the smallest details. He plans to launch his own fashion line in the coming year, trading off his passion for clothing and his own experience working as a model.

“My friends call me ‘Fresh Prince’ because of the way I dress. I like to be clean and fresh. Cleanliness Is next to godliness and my style is a big part of that,” he says.

Rello Ranzano has big plans for future, including more music video releases and an international tour. Keep up to date with all the latest news from Rello Ranzano by following him on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Snapchat.
