At this point, people really need give Russ his flowers. He continues to deliver on a consistent basis, all while with versatility that only compares to the like of Drake.
Following his “SHAKE THE SNOW GLOBE” album from May, Russ is back with another effort in the form of a 6-track EP titled “CHOMP.” With this particular project, he made it clear to come with nothing but BARS. And boy did he.
He calls for other lyrical guests including KXNG Crooked, Ab-Soul, Benny and more — but honestly, Russ was the biggest stand-out for me. I’ve had this joint on repeat since.
