Kenny Chesney has officially joined the Country Music Hall of Fame.
The No Shoes Nation singer was honored during a special ceremony held in Nashville.
Before the event began, Chesney posed for photos with several Country Music Hall of Fame members, including Garth Brooks, George Strait, Randy Travis, and Vince Gill.
“Taking the group shot with a lot of my heroes and a lot of my friends, it was the first time that I have ever felt accomplished in my life,” Chesney said later on stage.
“And I just want to thank you, God, for that. With every cell in my body, I feel the gravity of this moment.”
Chesney was inducted alongside the late June Carter Cash and producer Tony Brown as part of the Hall of Fame’s class of 2025, raising the total number of members to 158.
For nearly three hours, at the private event, the three honorees were celebrated with speeches, performances, and standing ovations inside the CMA Theatre.
During his 15-minute speech, Chesney acknowledged his parents, Karen Chandler and David Chesney, who were seated in the front row.
“It’s really a gift to be 57 years old and get inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and be sitting beside your mother and father,” he shared.
