The Rolling Stones have released their newest single, "Jealous Lover," giving fans another preview of their forthcoming studio album, Foreign Tongues. The record is set to arrive on July 10 through Polydor and Universal Music, highlighting the iconic group's lasting creativity and their ability to blend musical styles with ease.

To celebrate the release, the band has also debuted a cinematic music video directed by the award winning filmmaking team Chris Barrett and Luke Taylor. The visual stars Hollywood actors Anya Taylor Joy and Charles Melton.

Unlike the upbeat pop rock feel of their previous single, "In The Stars," the latest track leans into a soulful sound with strong R&B influences. Mick Jagger takes the lead with an expressive falsetto performance, delivering witty lyrics that playfully caution an overly curious partner. Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood bring their unmistakable guitar chemistry to the song, backed by bassist Darryl Jones and drummer Steve Jordan. Longtime collaborator Steve Winwood adds layers of Rhodes piano and organ, while producer Andrew Watt also contributes additional instrumentation.

In an unexpected bonus for fans, the digital release also includes another new song from the album, "Divine Intervention." The darker track is one of two songs on Foreign Tongues to feature a guest appearance from The Cure frontman Robert Smith, who performs on electric guitar.

Alongside the new music, the band has launched the first episode of a six part podcast series called Speaking In Tongues. Hosted by singer songwriter Norah Jones, the series gives listeners a behind the scenes look at the inspiration, songwriting, and recording process behind the album. Following the success of their 2023 Grammy winning release Hackney Diamonds, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood reflect on how the new record came together. The podcast also includes contributions from Andrew Watt, Steve Winwood, Robert Smith, and cover artist Nathaniel Mary Quinn.
