After sixteen years apart, Clipse and Pharrell Williams finally came back together, and the payoff has been massive. The trio delivered one of the strongest rap releases of the year with Let God Sort Em Out, which arrived in July and has stayed heavy in rotation for fans throughout 2025. The project has also landed on the radar of the Recording Academy, giving the Virginia duo a real shot at earning their first Grammy.
To mark the moment and celebrate the work they put into LGSEO, Pharrell decided to surprise Pusha T with a next level thank you gift. With Christmas only two days away, it easily doubled as a holiday present. Either way, the gesture speaks to the bond these two still share, one that feels more like family than friendship.
King Push shared the reveal of his new Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge with fans on social media yesterday, December 22. For those unfamiliar, the Spectre is Rolls-Royce’s first fully electric vehicle, marking a major step forward for the legendary brand.
The Black Badge version pushes things even further, boosting performance while adding a more aggressive and refined look. It opens the door for darker finishes and deeper customization, giving buyers the chance to tailor the car down to the smallest details.
Pharrell went all in, gifting Pusha a fully murdered out Spectre with everything from the wheels to the interior finished in black. The spec is striking, and it clearly left the Virginia rapper in awe.
“Aye @pharrell [four pleading face emojis] i love you man,” Pusha wrote in the caption. He also cracked jokes at Pharrell’s expense, pointing out that the car was already dirty. “Aye P… She dirty P. I’ma clean that in a minute,” he said while laughing.
He then broke into an impromptu rap about the ultra plush floor mats, which Rolls-Royce crafts from premium lamb’s wool.
“The Rolls got floor mats that look like they took four cats and made door mats / I rub my feet in ’em.”
After hearing the spontaneous bars, fans immediately jumped to conclusions in the comments, convinced new music is already brewing. “They gonna make another album,” one person wrote, while another added, “Already thinking of bars.”
Even though Clipse have made it clear they are far from finished, they have earned the right to enjoy this moment and take things easy until Grammy season arrives.
When it comes to the awards, Pusha and Malice are nominated in four categories this February, including Best Music Video, Rap Album, Rap Performance, and Album of the Year. Tracks like “So Be It,” “Chains & Whips,” and the LGSEO album itself helped secure those nominations.
