Maisie Peters and Amelia Dimoldenberg Collaborate on ‘My Regards’ Video

Maisie Peters has linked up with Amelia Dimoldenberg and Benito Skinner for the video accompanying her latest single ‘My Regards’.

The song marks the fourth release from her upcoming third studio album ‘Florescence’, which arrives on May 15, following earlier singles ‘You You You’, ‘Audrey Hepburn’ and ‘Say My Name In Your Sleep’ featuring Marcus Mumford. The album is available to pre order here.

“‘My Regards’ feels powerful, tongue in cheek, sexy and funny, all of which I feel are sides of myself I had not really been able to explore musically until now,” Peters explained.

“I took inspiration from classic country ‘stand by your man’ songs and wanted to create my own contemporary version. The difference is that here I get to step into the role of the fierce protector, rather than the soft love interest, which is how women have so often been framed in relationships across history.”

For the visual, Peters collaborated with Amelia Dimoldenberg on her first outing as a music video director, with Overcompensating star Benito Skinner also appearing. The clip offers a fresh, playful take on the 1992 film The Bodyguard. You can watch it below.

“Directing this video for Maisie was genuinely such a joy,” Dimoldenberg said. “As soon as I heard the song, I knew we had to lean into her strength as a storyteller. Flipping the ‘possessive girlfriend’ trope by turning Maisie into an actual bodyguard felt like a fun and unexpected way to push the idea further.”
