Coachella Boost Sends Justin Bieber and KATSEYE Up UK Singles Chart

The “Coachella Effect” is clearly making waves on the UK Official Singles Chart this week, as standout moments from the desert festival push both throwback hits and fresh releases higher. Leading the conversation is Justin Bieber, whose 2012 track with Nicki Minaj, “Beauty And A Beat,” has climbed to a new peak at Number 11, more than a decade after it first dropped.

After delivering a headline set that took over social media across the weekend, Bieber’s catalog experienced a major boost. “Beauty And A Beat” surged by an impressive 358 percent compared to last week, beating its original 2012 peak of Number 16. Other songs in his discography also saw renewed interest, with “DAISIES” and “YUKON” reentering the chart at Number 15 and Number 26. With the second weekend of Coachella now in full swing, attention is building around whether Bieber can push into the Top 10 next week.

It also marked a big moment for KATSEYE. The HYBE x Geffen Records global girl group earned the highest debut of the week with “PINKY UP,” arriving at Number 14. The song, which was first performed live during Coachella’s opening weekend, becomes their fourth UK chart entry and sets strong momentum ahead of their upcoming EP, WILD, scheduled for release this August.

Even with all the Coachella driven movement, Sam Fender and Olivia Dean are holding steady at the top. Their collaboration “Rein Me In” has now spent an eighth non consecutive week at Number 1. Close behind, Tame Impala is gaining ground with “Dracula,” which now sits at a new personal best of Number 2, helped by a remix featuring BLACKPINK’s JENNIE.

Other notable shifts include:

sombr saw “Homewrecker” rise to a new peak at Number 4.
Dominic Fike continued building momentum as “Babydoll” moved into the Top 5.
Ella Langley reached a new career high with “Choosin’ Texas” climbing to Number 13.
Sabrina Carpenter returned to the Top 20 with “House Tour” following her well received Coachella performance.

As the buzz from the desert continues to ripple outward, the UK charts once again show how a powerful live performance can reshape the music landscape.
