With summer in full swing, Davido is getting ready to deliver a fresh batch of music for fans around the world.

Billboard can exclusively reveal that the five time Grammy nominated Afrobeats star will release his sixth studio album on July 31. Titled ORIADÉ, the project combines the Yoruba words "ori," meaning head or destiny, and "adé," meaning crown. The release also celebrates the 15th anniversary of Davido's music career.

"Over fifteen years ago, I made a decision to trust something I couldn't fully explain … I just knew music was my destiny," he tells Billboard. "ORIADÉ is a celebration of the journey that led me to where I am now. To be in a position where I can help push African music forward around the world is something I'll never take for granted. I hope when people hear my new album, they understand that purpose doesn't always follow the expected path. The biggest blessings often come from betting on yourself, even when the destination isn't in sight yet."

Fronted by "I Know Who I Be," which arrived on Friday (June 26), ORIADÉ serves as the official follow up to 2025's 5ive. That album featured the Grammy nominated collaboration "With You" alongside Omah Lay and became Davido's fifth straight top five release on the World Albums chart, peaking at No. 2. 5ive also included collaborations with artists from across multiple genres, including Victoria Monét, YG Marley, Shenseea, Chris Brown and Becky G. With ORIADÉ, Davido says he is embracing a period of gratitude and self reflection, creating an album that reflects his personal journey toward fulfilling his purpose.

The upcoming album also adds to what has already been a milestone year for the Nigerian superstar. On April 11, Davido made his Coachella debut with a vibrant 45 minute performance that included a surprise appearance by Adekunle Gold. Following that performance, he teamed up with Major Lazer and Nelly Furtado for "No Place Like Home," a song featured on the official FIFA World Cup 2026 soundtrack. The trio performed the track during the tournament's countdown concert in Los Angeles on June 10, where Davido also wore a custom jacket displaying the names of abducted students and teachers from Oyo State, Nigeria.
