Florence and the Machine have revealed plans for an exclusive screening showcasing the “visual world” behind their upcoming album Everybody Scream.
Florence Welch and the band are preparing to release the follow-up to 2022’s Dance Fever on October 31. Before its arrival, they’ll host a private screening of the project’s visuals, created by creative director Autumn de Wilde, on October 14. The event will take place at a secret London location between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. BST.
According to a statement, “The event consists of a screening of official videos from the visual world of Everybody Scream and a Q+A between Florence Welch and creative director Autumn de Wilde. There will be no performance element.”
Fans who pre-order the album through the group’s official website before 5 p.m. on Wednesday (08.10.25) will automatically be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win tickets to the event.
The album, described as “exposing the murky in the mundane,” includes collaborations with Mark Bowen of IDLES, Aaron Dessner of The National and Taylor Swift fame, and indie favorite Mitski. The record’s lyrics explore themes of womanhood, relationships, aging, and mortality.
The deeply personal tone of the project draws from the 39-year-old singer’s recovery following a major surgery that saved her life.
So far, fans have heard the title track along with the haunting One of the Greats, a song she wrote in a single session with Bowen.
Florence and the Machine are also preparing for the Everybody Scream Tour, which begins February 6 at Belfast’s SSE Arena and concludes in Berlin on March 9.
Alongside a massive show at Manchester’s Co-op Live, the UK and European leg will feature two performances at London’s O2 Arena on February 16 and 17.
