Diddy continues to face a growing wave of lawsuits, even with his 50-month prison sentence approaching. The troubled music mogul is now dealing with two new sexual assault cases, according to TMZ.
The first lawsuit was filed by a man using the alias “John Doe.” He submitted his documents on Friday, the same day Diddy learned his sentence. The filing in Los Angeles Superior Court claims that in late 2014, the man was presented with what seemed like a major opportunity to work with the entertainment powerhouse.
Eager to advance his career at the time, he accepted the invitation. According to the lawsuit, “John Doe” was driven to a home in Val Verde for a music video shoot followed by an after-party.
Throughout the night, he says he spoke with people at the gathering a few times. The party reportedly involved alcohol, cocaine, and marijuana, but “John” claims he only drank alcohol. After having two or three drinks, he began to feel strange.
He says he eventually blacked out after being led into a room. At some point, he alleges that he was sexually assaulted. “John Doe” does not name Diddy directly in his claim.
After the incident, he says the consequences were devastating. He alleges that he later tested positive for HIV, even though he had tested negative only a few months before. He is seeking unspecified damages.
Where Is Diddy Serving His Prison Sentence?
The second lawsuit was filed by a woman named Leiana Ripley, who accuses Diddy of sexually assaulting her on her 20th birthday. She claims the incident happened in November 2016 at Club Playhouse in Los Angeles.
According to Ripley, Diddy approached her and insisted that she take a drink he was offering. When she refused, she says he became aggressive, telling her, “Btch, I am not asking you. Drink that sht and shut the f*ck up.”
Fearing for her safety, she says she took the drink, and that’s when Diddy allegedly assaulted her. Ripley claims he put one arm around her while forcing the other under her skirt. “Bitch I do what I want, take that sh*t,” she recalls him saying. She says she tried to fight him off, but he only laughed at her.
Ripley says she eventually managed to escape, left the club, and called for a cab. Her attorney, Tony Buzbee, is representing her in the case, and she is also seeking unspecified damages.
As of now, Diddy’s prison placement has not yet been determined. His legal team has confirmed plans to appeal his sentence, which may be causing the delay in finalizing his location.
