Oasis are reportedly planning to reconnect with several former members when the band enters the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame later this year.
Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher are also believed to want the major figures from the Britpop group’s most famous lineup to reunite following the brothers’ highly anticipated reconciliation.
The Manchester band ended its lengthy separation before last summer’s enormously successful Live ’25 comeback tour. Oasis is now expected to mark its Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in Los Angeles this November by gathering the musicians who shaped the group throughout the 1990s.
The Sun reports that Noel, 59, and Liam, 53, hope former members Gem Archer, 59, Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, 60, Andy Bell, 56, Paul McGuigan, 54, Alan White, 53, and original drummer Tony McCarroll, 54, will attend.
Oasis has been selected for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 2026 class, with the induction event scheduled for November in Los Angeles.
A source helping arrange the reunion told The Sun: “This will be an unforgettable occasion for Oasis, so Noel and Liam were determined to include everybody.
“Tony has already been contacted and wants to attend. Any problems from previous years have now been left behind.
“He intends to travel to Los Angeles for the event with the other members of the group.
“From the organisers’ perspective, everything has fallen into place perfectly.
“Simply having all these musicians together would be remarkable. There is some hope that they could perform, although no decision has been finalised. If it happened, it would become an important moment in Rock and Roll history.”
Tony’s reported inclusion carries particular importance because of his lengthy conflict with Noel.
The former Oasis drummer previously alleged that he lost his position in the group after confronting Noel during an incident at a hotel in 1995.
However, The Sun now claims Noel and Liam wanted every past member to receive recognition for their place in Oasis’ story, with Tony reportedly agreeing to attend.
The ceremony is expected to become a significant celebration of music from Britain.
Other artists joining the 2026 class include Phil Collins, Iron Maiden and Joy Division/New Order. Sir Paul McCartney is also reportedly being considered to present Oasis at the event.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has officially named Oasis among its 2026 performer inductees, alongside Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Sade, Wu-Tang Clan and several others.
The reported reunion plans are another sign of the dramatic improvement in the relationship between Noel and Liam following one of the longest disputes in rock music.
Live ’25 marked the brothers’ first performances together since Oasis separated in 2009, and the comeback quickly became one of the largest concert events in recent memory.
The group’s collection of songs, including Wonderwall, Don't Look Back in Anger, Champagne Supernova, Live Forever and Supersonic, continues to represent the Britpop era. Their records (What's the Story) Morning Glory? and Definitely Maybe also remain two of Britain’s most highly regarded albums.
More than two million tickets were sold worldwide for the Oasis reunion tour, which also brought fresh international attention to the band.
The Sun further claimed that Oasis is preparing to reveal more concert dates in September, continuing its return through 2027.
Although fans and organisers remain hopeful that the reunited lineup could perform during the Hall of Fame ceremony, there has been no official confirmation that the musicians will appear onstage together.
